Menago gets to know your experience, your ability, and the time you have available — then builds a preparation plan tailored specifically to you. Every week it reviews your progress and reacts to missed sessions, fatigue, or injury, adjusting the weeks ahead on the fly. Just like a good coach — only available around the clock.
A PDF from the internet doesn't know your race history, your recovery, or that you tweaked your ankle on Tuesday. A real coach does — but can't watch every athlete, every day. Menago encodes that judgment into software, so every runner gets a plan that reasons about them, specifically.
Every plan is generated from the athlete's own race results, fitness level, and available training days — not picked from a library of one-size-fits-all templates.
Report an injury or skip a session, and the plan re-adjusts immediately: load drops, recovery is inserted, and the build resumes on a realistic curve — automatically.
Menago isn't a lab prototype. It was designed around one of the toughest mountain ultras in the region and is already coaching real athletes toward it.
One engine, two ways to reach the plan — depending on how much control you want to keep on your side.
You set your own parameters, training days, goal race and preparation method. Menago generates a complete plan and adapts it to how your training actually goes. More of the control stays with you.
The coach defines the brief, and the Menago engine generates a plan the coach reviews, adjusts and approves before it reaches the athlete. A human makes the call — the engine does the work.

From joining to your first workout — six steps. They take a few minutes, and from then on the plan leads the way.
Menago is currently in testing — testers get a pool of free subscriptions. Message us on Bieg Kreta's Facebook or by email kret@kbsobotka.pl, and we'll grant you access. A token then appears on your account — your key to the phone app and to Menago on the web. Start here.
In "My Menago", complete your athlete profile: level, race history, weekly training days and available time — fill in your profile here. The truer it is, the better the engine tailors your plan to you.
Point to your target race — distance, elevation and date. Add control races (checkpoints along the way) if you plan them — Menago weaves them into the macrocycle and prepares you for each one. Set your goal here.
Two paths to a plan. You pick one — the same Menago engine powers both. Choose your coach here.
You set your parameters and generate the plan yourself — it's ready instantly. Recompute it whenever you change your goal or settings.
You pick a coach and send a request. Wait for them to accept and build your plan — you get it once the coach approves it.
You'll get the Android download link by email together with your subscription. Install it and sign in with your token — fastest via the QR code in My Menago. Your plan is always with you now, even offline.
Follow it week by week and tell the plan how it's going — that's how it adapts to you:
A regular runner never needs this — the plan computes itself anyway. But if you want to see what's under the hood: a nine-stage engine of coaching logic and the project roadmap.
Race history, results, current load, athlete input and coach assessments — a profile of capacity and readiness for the goal.
A macrocycle sized to distance, surface, race date and training stage: endurance, speed, VO₂max, threshold, specific work and taper.
Picks stimuli from a card library — goal, dose, progression, intensity and recovery cost (threshold, VO₂max, LONG, back-to-back, climbs, descents).
The chosen coach's philosophy: priorities, weekly layout and flagship sessions — checked against the athlete and the distance.
Spreads load across available days; finds layouts that protect accents, long efforts and recovery within the limits.
A day-by-day calendar: sessions, time, distance, intensity, elevation — with the goal, control races and recovery.
Load limits, number of days, segments and spacing. Separately: method fit and completeness — hard limits are not the same as race readiness.
You send selected workouts to Garmin Connect with a date (by button); activities come back automatically and are compared with the plan.
On recalculation it accounts for realization, moves, reported setbacks and race-calendar changes — and updates future sessions.
Menago is running in production: it generates plans from 5 km to ultra and serves athletes and coaches in Android apps and in the browser. The system ties together planning, training realization, messaging and Garmin Connect integration. Ongoing work focuses on method calibration, plan quality and ease of use.
Menago is growing deliberately — one proven audience at a time, starting with the race that inspired it.
A companion app for every registered participant of Bieg Kreta, a technical 148 km mountain ultra — distributed as part of the official race starter pack. Each runner gets a free, personalized preparation plan tuned to their level and available training time.
The same engine in several app editions, each tuned for one distance: 5K, 10K, Half, Marathon and Ultra. Premium includes every distance, while Droga do Kreta is tuned for Bieg Kreta (148 km). There is also a free 30-day trial — first for KB Sobótka club members, now open to runners beyond it too.
A universal, sport-agnostic training-plan platform for coaches and athletes — commercial use beyond trail and ultra running.
Menago is at the stage where real people make the difference. We're looking for runners, coaches and race organizers to help refine it — and be the first to benefit.

The name isn't an accident. For years, Menago has been one of the most recognizable and cult figures of the Bieg Kreta world — a volunteer, one of the race's organizers, and the character at the heart of the films introducing the athletes selected for the 10 Hardcore. Every year he plays a different role, but it's always the same man — the good spirit of Bieg Kreta, the one who makes Kret epic.
This time, Menago takes on the role of a virtual coach — one that guides participants through the entire build-up to Kret, week after week, all the way to the start line.
