Terms and Conditions of Use

§ 1. General Provisions

  1. The Bieg Kreta Registration Portal, available at www.biegkreta.pl, is operated by the Klub Biegacza Sobótka Association, with its registered office at ul. Mickiewicza 51A, 55-050 Sobótka, Poland, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".
  2. The Portal is intended for:
    a) registering participants for sports events organized or co-organized by the Organizer,
    b) collecting participation fees related to such events,
    c) ordering additional event-related items, including event shirts, sportswear, gadgets, souvenirs, and other items prepared in connection with the Organizer's events.
  3. The Portal is not an online retail store and does not constitute a general e-commerce platform.
  4. The Organizer does not conduct regular retail sales and does not maintain a permanent inventory of products for commercial sale.
  5. All services and items available through the Portal are directly related to the Organizer's statutory activities and the organization of sports events.

§ 2. Registration and Orders

  1. Users may register for events and order available additional event-related items through the Portal.
  2. By submitting a registration or order, the user accepts these Terms and Conditions.
  3. After a registration or order has been submitted, the user will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt.
  4. The Organizer reserves the right to restrict access to selected items or services to specific groups of persons, including:
    a) event participants,
    b) volunteers,
    c) members of the Klub Biegacza Sobótka Association.

§ 3. Additional Event-Related Items

  1. Event shirts, sportswear, gadgets, souvenirs, and other items offered through the Portal are ancillary to the sports events organized by the Organizer.
  2. Such items are produced and supplied based on submitted orders.
  3. The Organizer does not maintain a warehouse of ready-made products for ongoing commercial sale.
  4. Production and preparation of items take place after orders have been collected or according to the schedule of a specific event.
  5. The offer of additional items is intended exclusively for:
    a) participants of events organized by the Organizer,
    b) volunteers supporting the organization of events,
    c) members of the Klub Biegacza Sobótka Association.
  6. The Organizer may offer preferential pricing or subsidies for selected items to Association members and volunteers.
  7. Such subsidies are financed from the Organizer's own resources and constitute part of its statutory activities.

§ 4. Collection of Items

  1. The Organizer does not conduct mail-order or distance retail sales of additional items unless explicitly stated otherwise in the description of a particular item.
  2. As a rule, ordered items shall be collected:
    a) at the event registration office (Race Office),
    b) at a location designated by the Organizer,
    c) during Association meetings or other organizational gatherings.
  3. Information regarding collection methods and dates will be provided in the item description or communicated electronically.

§ 5. Fees and Payments

  1. Participation fees and prices of additional items are specified within the Portal.
  2. All prices are displayed in Polish Złoty (PLN).
  3. Payments may be made using electronic payment services and bank transfers made available through the Portal.
  4. Confirmation of payment will be sent electronically.

§ 6. Invoices and Payment Documents

  1. Electronic confirmation of registration or order will be provided to the user.
  2. VAT invoices shall be issued upon request and in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
  3. Information required for issuing an invoice should be provided within the time limits specified by applicable law.

§ 7. Cancellations and Refunds

  1. Cancellation of participation in an event shall be governed by the rules specified in the regulations of the respective event.
  2. The right of withdrawal may be limited where items are produced according to the user's individual specifications, including event-specific sportswear manufactured in a selected size, design, or configuration, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  3. Detailed cancellation and refund rules may be specified in the regulations of a particular event.

§ 8. Complaints

  1. Users may submit complaints regarding the operation of the Portal, payments, registrations, or received items.
  2. Complaints should be submitted electronically to: admin@biegkreta.pl.
  3. A complaint should include information enabling identification of the registration or order and a description of the issue.
  4. The Organizer will review complaints within 14 days of receipt.

§ 9. Personal Data Protection

  1. The controller of personal data is the Klub Biegacza Sobótka Association.
  2. Personal data are processed for the purposes of:
    a) handling registrations and orders,
    b) organizing sports events,
    c) fulfilling legal obligations,
    d) communication with participants and users.
  3. Detailed information regarding personal data processing is provided in the Privacy Policy available on the Portal.

§ 10. Final Provisions

  1. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions for important legal, organizational, or technical reasons.
  2. Any amendments shall be published on the Portal.
  3. Matters not regulated herein shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland.
  4. These Terms and Conditions enter into force on the date of their publication on the Portal.
